Sustaining Nonprofits through COVID-19 Crisis

The COVID-19 crisis presents an immediate need for our community to come together to help our home region. As people practice social distancing, nonprofits that are dependent upon places to convene will be the hardest hit.

Goal 17 Media is providing media production services – pro bono – to produce podcasts, using content otherwise delivered in-person, for nonprofits to stay connected to their communities and make it easier for individuals to provide financial support.

Please consider donating to the Goal 17 Foundation so we can expand our efforts to help sustain non-profits who are supporting the common good. One hundred percent of donations will go directly to covering costs associated with producing podcasts so these organizations can stay connected to their communities.

The future of our world requires the collective understanding of – and investment in – sustainable companies, products and services that support the common good.

Goal 17 Media is a media network producing podcasts, videos and documentaries that inspire individuals and communities to directly support companies whose environmental, social or governance (ESG) policies positively impact sustainable development. We build partnerships by providing communities the stories, relationships and means to take action and contribute to the common good. We also provide financing for early stage ESG companies to support their growth.

Initially, we will create and publish podcasts on topics ranging from how ESG companies are spurring economic growth and creating sustainable jobs and products, to improving health and education, reducing inequality, and tackling climate change. Every story we produce will have a direct link to participate in that cause.

The Sustainable Development Goals are the world’s shared plan to end extreme poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the planet by 2030.

Adopted by 193 countries in 2015, the SDGs emerged from the most inclusive and comprehensive negotiations in UN history and have inspired people from across sectors, geographies, and cultures. Achieving the goals by 2030 will require heroic and imaginative effort, determination to learn about what works, and agility to adapt to new information and changing trends.
